Horizontal Locks

Most commonly found in period properties, horizontal locks are usually paired with mortice door knobs. They have a longer lock case and help protect fingers from getting trapped against door frames when using door knobs. Horizontal locks are particularly useful when replacing existing older lock cases or if you have an unusual door configuration requiring a horizontal lock installation.

We offer a large selection of horizontal locks at Brass Works in a number of finishes including dark bronze, satin stainless, polished brass, and black nickel.
