This intumescent lock kit is cut to protect the mortice for a Euro profile or 5 lever deadlock on an FD30 fire door. Fitted around the lock case before the lock goes in, the 1mm material swells when heated and seals the gap in the door edge, helping the door keep its fire performance.
Suitable for Euro deadlocks and 5 lever deadlocks in 2.5" and 3" case sizes. The kit is flexible and pre-scored with cut-out lines so it can be trimmed to the lock being fitted. Always check the fire rating of the door and fit the matching level of intumescent protection.
