This intumescent hinge pad measures 102 x 76mm (4" x 3") and is rated FD30. It sits behind the leaf of a 4" x 3" hinge on a fire door and expands when heated to seal the hinge recess, helping an FD30 fire door maintain its integrity where the hinge is rebated in.
Use it with 4" x 3" fire rated hinges, which must be fitted with intumescents to be compliant. It is also sold in a set of 6, and an FD60 version is available for hour-rated doors.
