The Atlantic Radius Corner Intumescent Hinge Pad measures 102 x 76mm (4" x 3") and sits behind a hinge leaf where it is rebated into a fire door. It helps keep the fire door assembly intact when ironmongery is let into the door and frame, and its radius corners follow the shape of a radius-cornered hinge.
Intumescent protection must be fitted under rebated hinges, locks and latches so certified ironmongery stays compliant. The flexible pad is pre-made with cut-out lines that can be trimmed to the hinge. Check the fire rating of the door and choose the matching level of intumescent protection before fitting.
