The Atlantic Radius Corner Intumescent Hinge Pad - FD30 is a 102 x 76mm (4" x 3") pad for fitting behind hinges on FD30 fire doors. The intumescent material expands when exposed to heat, sealing the gap around the hinge and helping to hold back fire and smoke where the hinge is rebated into the door.
Its radius corners suit radius-cornered hinges of the same size. Fit one pad under each hinge leaf on an FD30 door to help maintain the integrity of the door assembly. An FD60 version is listed in the same range for doors with a higher rating.
