The 2 piece door spindle for split followers measures 110 x 8mm and is made for locks or latches whose follower is divided in two. Each half of the spindle drives one side of the lock independently, so the handle on one face can be set to operate while the other does not, as required by the lock.
Fit one half from each side of the door into the matching half of the split follower, with the handles fixed to each end. Use it only with locks designed for split followers; a standard lock needs a one-piece spindle.
