The 2mm Intumescent Pack for Euro DIN Locks is a fire protection kit that lines the mortice for a Euro DIN lock in a fire door. Its graphite-based material insulates the rebated lock body and expands when heated, helping the door keep its fire performance around the lock cut-out.
Fit it with the corresponding Euro DIN lock for fire door compliance. The material activates at 180 degrees and expands to many times its original volume, adding structure as it fills the rebate. The 2mm thickness can be used for FD30 and FD60 and is 3rd party accredited.
