The 2mm Intumescent Pack for Mortice Sash Locks is a fire protection kit for the mortice of a sash lock in a fire door. The graphite-based material insulates the rebated lock body and expands when exposed to heat, helping the door keep its fire performance around the lock.
Fit it with the corresponding mortice sash lock for fire door compliance. The material activates at 180 degrees and expands to many times its original volume, filling the rebate with multi-directional pressure. The 2mm thickness can be used on FD30 and FD60 doors and is 3rd party accredited.
