Door Stops & Holders

Door stops and holders are hardware devices that are used to hold doors open, prevent them from opening too far, or prevent them from hitting the wall or furniture. They are available in a variety of styles and finishes to match the décor of the room and can be used for residential, commercial, or industrial applications.

What kind of door stops are there?

Here are some of the types of door stops and holders you might need for your home or business:

1. Wall-mounted door stops - These are devices that are attached to the wall and used to stop the door from opening too far and hitting the wall. They can be either a fixed or an adjustable type.

2. Floor-mounted door stops - These are devices that are attached to the floor and used to stop the door from hitting the wall or furniture. They can be either a fixed or an adjustable type.

3. Magnetic door stops - These are devices that are installed on the floor or wall and have a magnet to hold the door in place. They are typically used for lightweight doors and can be either a fixed or a movable type.

4. Spring door stops - These are devices that are installed on the floor or wall and have a spring that absorbs the force of the door, preventing it from hitting the wall or furniture. They can be either a fixed or a movable type.

5. Kickdown door holders - These are devices that are installed on the door and used to hold it open. They typically have a spring-loaded mechanism that allows the holder to be kicked down to release the door.

Door stops and holders are important components of any building, as they can help to prevent damage to walls and furniture, as well as provide convenient access and ease of movement for people and materials. The choice of door stop or holder will depend on the specific needs and requirements of the door and the space it is located in.
