The Contemporary turn and release for mortice door knobs is a bathroom privacy fitting designed to sit alongside mortice knobs on doors to bathrooms, en-suites and WCs. Its contemporary styling matches modern knob designs and gives a neat way to lock and release the door from either side.
The thumb turn is fitted on the inside face of the door and the release on the outside, both connected to a bathroom lock. The turn locks the door for privacy, while the release allows the door to be opened from outside if needed.
