The easy clean socket, 62 x 19mm, is a floor socket that receives the bolt of a flush bolt at the foot of a door. It is used on double doors, French doors and cupboard doors where one leaf is bolted to the floor, in both homes and commercial buildings.
The socket is set into the floor beneath the bolt so the bolt can drop into it and hold the door leaf secure. Its easy clean design is intended to stop the socket filling with dirt and debris, so the bolt keeps engaging properly over time.
