The Jedo Classic mortice door knob is a pair of round door knobs for internal doors fitted with a mortice latch or lock. Its classic shape suits period and traditional interiors, and it works on hallway, living room and bedroom doors where a knob is preferred to a lever handle.
Mortice knobs are fitted to each face of the door and connected by a spindle through the follower of a mortice latch or sashlock. Turning either knob withdraws the latch so the door can be opened from both sides.
