The Jedo brass heavy necked barrel bolt is a 100 x 38mm surface-fixed bolt for securing heavier doors, outbuildings and gates from one side. It is made from brass, with a round barrel bolt that slides into a keep on the frame to hold the door closed.
A necked bolt has a cranked bolt, so the keep can be fixed to a frame or stop that sits on a different level to the door face, such as a rebated frame or the meeting edge of double doors. The bolt screws to the face of the door, with the keep fixed to the frame opposite.
