The Valley Forge shepherds crook necked bolt is 152mm long and has a cranked neck and a shepherds crook handle. It is a traditional surface-fixed bolt for securing cottage doors, sheds, stables, outbuildings and garden gates, and suits doors and gates where the keep stands proud of the door face. It matches the hinges, latches and catches in the Valley Forge range.
The bolt plate is screwed to the door and the keep to the frame or post, with the shoot sliding across to hold the door shut. Choose a length that gives a comfortable reach and enough throw for the gap being bolted.
