The Jedo Kontrax tubular latch 76mm is a sprung tubular latch with a steel forend and strike. It is used on internal doors in homes, flats and offices, such as bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens, where the door only needs to latch shut and is opened by lever handles or knobs.
The tubular body is bored into the door edge, so it needs no deep mortice, and the latch is withdrawn by the handle from either side. A Kontrax rebate kit is available for rebated double doors.
