The Avon lever door handle on bathroom backplate is a pair of hand-hammered levers on 152 x 48mm backplates for bathroom, en-suite and WC doors where privacy is needed. The Avon lever is the brand's signature design, shaped by blacksmiths for an individual look.
A strong spring in the boss supports the lever. The set includes two handles plus a coin and release thumbturn, with 57mm centres to suit a bathroom mortice lock. Supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws and designed to match the Avon range.

About the Polished Bronze finish
Polished Bronze is a bright, highly reflective finish with an abundance of character and warmth. This finish really pops when used in contemporary settings with bold colourways, adding visual interest and contrast. The Polished Bronze is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The finish is first aged, then repolished to create subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and darker patina which gathers around the edges and recesses. To preserve the bright, reflective finish a durable lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing. Bronze will naturally darken over time, however the bright reflective finish can be restored by polishing with a beeswax based furniture polish if desired.
Care and maintenance
We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. We recommend using a dry cloth, or a beeswax based furniture polish to restore shine as the Bronze will naturally tarnish and darken over. This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
