From The Anvil Slim Sash Window Pull Handle - 130mm - Polished Brass

The Slim Sash Window Pull Handle is a 130mm pull fitted to the bottom rail of a sash window to help lift and close the lower sash. Its slim 130mm x 12mm profile suits period and modern sash windows alike, and it complements the other sash furniture in the collection for a consistent look throughout a property.

Sash pulls are usually fitted in pairs, one towards each side of the bottom sash; this handle is sold singly. It has 110mm fixing centres, an 85mm internal size and a 30mm projection, and is supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws.

About the Polished Brass finish

Polished Brass is a simplistic, classic finish most synonymous with use in traditional period properties and interiors, yet works well paired with light colours and subtle textural details to achieve a luxurious, more modern aesthetic. The Polished Brass products are manufactured from solid, unlacquered brass. Bright and reflective when polished, although as an unlacquered, 'living' finish it will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish.

Care and maintenance

This finish will continue to oxidise and age as it is an unlacquered finish, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes tarnished or too dark, it can be restored to brighten the finish. We recommend polishing with a dry cloth or alternatively using the ‘Brasso’ (73102), which assists with the cleaning of solid brass products. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
