The Reeded espagnolette window handle is a left-hand fastener with a Regency-style reeded end that sits comfortably in traditional and contemporary homes. It is forged from solid brass, with the reeded section showing the hand finishing, and it operates the multipoint locking system fitted to many uPVC, timber and aluminium casement windows.
This fastener is handed: viewed from inside, a window hinged on the left needs a left-hand handle. The 7mm square x 40mm spindle drives an espagnolette gearbox and window lock, and the handle is locked with a grub screw. Slim fixing plates allow fitting to uPVC and timber windows, and it matches the Reeded range.

About the Aged Brass finish
A popular choice for Period homes and interiors; The Aged Brass finish offers a characterful warmth and works beautifully, creating a real statement when used with deep, dark paint colours, and materials & textiles synonymous with luxury and abundance. Manufactured from solid, unlacquered Brass, the Aged Brass products undergo an accelerated ageing process before surface areas are repolished, creating a striking contrast between the darker patina left around the edges and recesses, and brighter surface areas. As an unlacquered, 'living' finish Aged Brass will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish on surface areas.
Care and maintenance
This finish will continue to oxidise and age as it is an unlacquered finish, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes tarnished or too dark, it can be restored to brighten the finish. We recommend polishing with a dry cloth or alternatively using the ‘Brasso’ (73102), which assists with the cleaning of solid brass products. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
