From The Anvil Reeded Casement Stay - 254mm (10") - Aged Bronze

The Reeded casement stay 254mm (10") holds a casement window open at a set position and secures it when shut. Its classic Regency design has a reeded end, and it is forged from solid bronze, with the reeding showing off the hand finishing. The mid-length arm suits average-sized casements in traditional and contemporary homes.

The stay matches the Reeded window furniture so windows can be finished consistently. It has an overall length of 296mm, a 275mm stay arm and a 45mm x 16mm fixing plate, and is made in three sizes. Supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws.

About the Aged Bronze finish

Aged Bronze is a versatile finish that's equally suited to interiors featuring lighter shades for bold contrast, or darker hues for a more subtle aesthetic. One of the most popular finishes favoured for its dark, matte richness with distinctive warm undertones unlike any other finish in the range. The Aged Bronze products are made using solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal is what gives it a dark, dramatic appearance, before a durable matt lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing to help protect and preserve its distinctive tones.

Care and maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
