The Avon locking casement fastener is a reversible handle for securing side-hung casement windows in the closed position. The simple four-sided Avon design is shaped by hand with a series of hammer blows and suits contemporary and traditional timber casements alike, matching the Avon stays and door handles.
The reversible design works on left or right hand windows and comes with both mortice and hook plates for different fitting options. It locks by grub screw and is suitable for weather-stripped windows. Supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws and designed to match the Avon range.

About the Aged Bronze finish
Aged Bronze is a versatile finish that's equally suited to interiors featuring lighter shades for bold contrast, or darker hues for a more subtle aesthetic. One of the most popular finishes favoured for its dark, matte richness with distinctive warm undertones unlike any other finish in the range. The Aged Bronze products are made using solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal is what gives it a dark, dramatic appearance, before a durable matt lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing to help protect and preserve its distinctive tones.
Care and maintenance
We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
