From The Anvil Avon Espagnolette Window Handle - Satin Brass

The Avon espagnolette window handle is a reversible handle for windows with a multipoint espagnolette locking system. Its slim fixing plate means it can be fitted to timber and uPVC windows, and the simple Avon styling suits contemporary and traditional homes.

The handle is cranked forward to stand clear of the window for easy use, and works on left and right hand windows. A 7mm x 40mm spindle drives the espagnolette gearbox and window lock, and it locks by grub screw. Supplied with matching stainless steel M5 screws.

About the Satin Brass finish

Satin Brass offers a sophisticated and more contemporary alternative to Polished and Aged Brass. The rich, warm undertones, and matt look of this finish exude luxury and are perfect for creating a statement in any space. Best suited to more modern homes and interiors, it works well when paired with darker tones and colours. Manufactured from solid brass, the Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel during the final stages of manufacturing, giving them their distinctive, matt appearance, before a high quality matt lacquer is applied to the surface for protection.

Care and maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like the 'Maintenance Wax' (33002). This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection and protecting the lacquer. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
