The Brompton espagnolette window handle (left hand) operates the multipoint locking of a uPVC or timber window. Hand forged from solid brass with the knurled diamond pattern of the Brompton suite, it brings a hardwearing, consistent look to modern windows, and its slim fixing plate means it can be fitted to most window types.
This handle is handed: viewed from inside, a window hinged on the left needs a left hand handle. It has a 7mm² x 40mm spindle, locks by way of a grub screw and works with an espagnolette gearbox and window lock. Matching stainless steel M5 screws are supplied.

Burnished Brass is an excellent choice for those wanting to add subtle luxury to their home interiors. Hand forged from a base of solid brass, Burnished Brass is an excellent example of how the unique manufacturing techniques add further intrigue to the natural charm of the base material. Each product undergoes an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the beautiful burnished finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection.
Care and maintenance
We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like the 'Maintenance Wax' (33002) to offer some protection. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
