From The Anvil Floor Mounted Door Stop - Satin Brass

The floor mounted door stop prevents an opening door, and its handle, from striking and damaging the wall behind it. It screws directly into the floor and suits internal doors in hallways, living rooms and bedrooms, letting the door stop be coordinated with the rest of the door furniture down to the finest detail.

The stop has a 30mm diameter and a 42mm projection from the floor. It is supplied with an M6 x 40mm wood to metal screw for fixing, and it can be paired with matching lever handles to create a consistent look on internal doors.

About the Satin Brass finish

Satin Brass offers a sophisticated and more contemporary alternative to Polished and Aged Brass. The rich, warm undertones, and matt look of this finish exude luxury and are perfect for creating a statement in any space. Best suited to more modern homes and interiors, it works well when paired with darker tones and colours. Manufactured from solid brass, the Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel during the final stages of manufacturing, giving them their distinctive, matt appearance, before a high quality matt lacquer is applied to the surface for protection.

Care and maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer. Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like the 'Maintenance Wax' (33002). This will help remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks, while offering some protection and protecting the lacquer. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
