The Fitch sash window fastener secures a sliding sash window when it is closed. It is a traditional rotating fastener for the meeting rails of a sash window, and it belongs to a sash furniture collection designed to complement the wider range, so a consistent look can be carried through a property or renovation project.

The keep is fitted to the bottom rail of the sash and the fastener rotates into it when the window is closed. A grub screw provides a locking mechanism. It is sold singly and supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws.

An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
