From The Anvil Reeded Espagnolette Window Handle - Right Hand - Pewter Patina

The Reeded espagnolette window handle is a right-hand fastener with a Regency-style reeded end that suits both traditional and contemporary homes. Forged from solid brass and hand finished along the reeded section, it operates the multipoint locking system fitted to many uPVC, timber and aluminium casement windows.

This fastener is handed: viewed from inside, a window hinged on the right needs a right-hand handle. The 7mm square x 40mm spindle drives an espagnolette gearbox and window lock, and the handle is locked with a grub screw. Slim fixing plates allow fitting to uPVC and timber windows, and it matches the Reeded range.

About the Pewter Patina finish

This charming finish is well suited to characterful homes and interiors, where a more refined, yet traditional look is desired. Pewter Patina products work beautifully when used with natural timbers and oak, but can also be modernised by pairing them with painted finishes in a variety of colours. Hand forged from a durable base of steel, out Pewter Patina finish is an excellent example of how the unique manufacturing techniques add further detail to the natural charm of the base material. Pewter Patina products undergo an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the unique finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection. A low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected.

Care and maintenance

A low maintenance finish, ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms, or externally where damp conditions are expected. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
