The Vier DIN bathroom lock is a 60mm backset bathroom lock with a latch bolt and a privacy bolt operated by a turn and release at 78mm centre to centre, fitted with a two-piece square forend. It is used on bathroom, WC and shower room doors in homes, offices and public buildings, with lever handles on a rose or backplate fitted to suit.
The square forend suits a square-cut mortice in the door edge. The 60mm backset sets the distance from the door edge to the centre of the follower, and the 78mm centres suit matching lever furniture. The lock case is mortice fitted into the door edge.
