The Valley Forge bulb end casement fastener (95 x 55mm) is a traditional window catch for side-hung timber casement windows. The handle has a bulb end at its end and turns to hook onto a keep on the frame, holding the window closed. It suits cottages, period homes and restoration work on older windows.
The fastener is screwed to the opening casement and the keep to the frame, so the handle swings into the keep to close the window. Pair it with a Valley Forge bulb end casement stay on the same window.
