The Valley Forge curly tail casement fastener (90mm) is a traditional window catch for side-hung timber casement windows. The handle has a curly tail at its end and turns to hook onto a keep on the frame, holding the window closed. It suits cottages, period homes and restoration work on older windows.
The fastener is screwed to the opening casement and the keep to the frame, so the handle swings into the keep to close the window. Pair it with a Valley Forge curly tail casement stay on the same window.
