From The Anvil Traditional Letter Plate with Tunnel and Brushes - 315 x 92mm - Polished Chrome

The Traditional letter plate is a 315mm x 92mm door letterbox supplied as a full kit with a tunnel and brushes. The brushes reduce draughts and help insulate the door, and it is recommended for composite and uPVC entrance doors in traditional and modern homes.

The inner sleeve protects the door from moisture and masks the cut aperture. It suits doors from 42mm to 72mm thick, with a 249mm x 41mm opening and 283mm fixing centres. Supplied with matching bolt through fixings; pair with door furniture from the Traditional range.

Polished Chrome is a high sheen finish that is best suited to modern interiors. its bright, reflective qualities work well where a clean, minimalistic look is desired; the cool tones complementing bold colours and contemporary styling. Polished Chrome products are made from a base of solid brass, with a durable chrome plating applied to the surface resulting in an exceedingly high-sheen finish.

Care and maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the plated finish. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the finish from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using the ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337). This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
